megane convertible early model

Hi All
I am a new member, hope this is the right forum

I am interested in purchasing a Megane Convertible, and would be interested in members views on the "pros and cons" of the model, and also any websites where I can buy one. I like the early models Y 01/02/etc, but appreciate that they are few and far between, so may have to look for a later model. I am happy to purchase one and if need be give it some "tlc" etc

Any help advice would be appreciated

I have narrowed it down to the 1.6 silver /red/blue colour

Hello Geronimo, welcome along.

Whilst I can't offer specific advice on the CC one thing I would say is that whatever you get must have good provenance, I would also advise going for a diesel and, if you definitely want a petrol, the 1.6 does have more than its fair share of problems, especially pre 05 models.

I'm sure there'll be CC owners along soon and, in the meantime it may pay dividends to post the same question in the CC forum
