Looking to buy a 2008 1.5 DCi 106 tourer with 25k on it

This has been asked before for good reason. Check every single electrical item from every conceivable switch; the service history. Take a test drive with the engine dead cold, then from hot, and ask the seller why they are getting rid. Run the engine at idle and monitor the blowby from the oil cap, Ask for prior MOT certificates, and pay for a HP check. Compare all the VIN details from the book to the engine bay to the door jamb.

If in doubt, ask. A four year old car with only 25k on the clock looks like short trips.

There are many other suggestions. Remember the maxim: Caveat emptor - the buyer should beware.

It's from a main dealer, approved used. So hpi check, fsh, it'll have at least 9 months mot too.
