Hey all.
Have been searching the web and forums but keep coming up against conflicting information. I'm due to collect my car on Sunday. It's a 2005 Megane 5dr 1.9dci 120 Privilege. I was wondering if the Privilege spec comes with handsfree as standard or if it was an option prior to the facelift the following year? Any help much appreciated. From memory the car did have black squares behind the door handles. Don't know if this means anything though as a family member has an 03 1.4 Dynamique with the same squares but no handsfree.
Thanking you!

Re: 2005 1.9dci Privilege
Welcome along and 'yes' the Privilege does have hands free (ever since launch in UK on 18th October 2002). The way to tell is the small, oval, locking button recessed into the actual handle. The hands free is one of the things you should make sure works (on every door) along with the electric windows, electric folding mirrors, panoramic roof, climate control, etc. Electrics are the Megane's Achilles heel so be thorough.
