Most problems will of been ironed out by 07 but saying that all cars have problems, i wouldnt worry if something does crop up you have this place to research for the information you need.

Oh and ive been lucky so far with my Megane *touches wood*

I had a 2004 Hatchback Dynamique before I got the CC one, and the only problems I had were brake pads needing replaced and a window motor, which was replaced under warranty anyway. Despite being told not to touch a Renault, I didn't think I'd have the problems I've had with the CC because the Hatchback seemed alright. I've definitely seen the other side of them now. The CC's a beautiful car, and it would break my heart to sell it, but I'm starting to think I should be looking into other possibilities for cars.

No don't be silly! Every car has it's problems. The facelifted model had most issues ironed out.

I have an '03 Mégane - which was supposedly the worst year for problems and I've had very few, minor issues. Had it for a year now and put 14,000 miles on it - I love it.

Problem-free cars don't exist, even "quality"brands like Audi and Mercedes have their problems!

Just inform yourself well when you buy a car, i.e. don't buy a 2002-2004 Megane. From 2005 onwards, even the Phase 1 Megane is reliable.

Yep problem free other than those created by myself, and with some careful talking Renault UK have been kind enough to sort them out!

101% happy with the car, in all aspects, and renault as a whole.
