help needed

hiya i am thinking of getting a megane 2005 1.9 diesel for my wife i have heard a few people at work moaning about megane,s but she really likes the idea of the glass folding roof. i just wanted to hear from some owners to put my mind at ease she needs it to be reliable and not keep going back to the garage i was also looking at the 1.6 version but thought the diesel would be a little cheaper? and are there things i should be looking out for when getting one??

If you do look at any cars, make sure they have a full service history because frequent oil changes are vital for the longevity of the turbo on the diesels. Check that everything electrical is working, make sure that you get two key cards and that they both work and also check front footwells for dampness. There are a few dogs out there but there are also many good, well looked after cars too. The Megane is a comfortable car to drive and has lots of useful toys for the price.
