Lowering

Postby Stu-1990 » Mon Mar 16, 2009 11:10 am

Hi all i'm new to the forum so would like to say hi to all, my query is with lowering, i'm looking to replace the springs in my meg to so that the gap between the wheel and the wheel arch is the same the whole way round the wheel (on standard nevarsport 17" alloys', on both the front and the back wheels, can anyone advise me on what kind of drop i should be looking at?
I have also fitted an induction kit to my meg, although it was a royal pain to do because of the limited space and the fact you have to move the battery, battery pan and wiring loom to remove the original airbox! the cuts to my hands from doing it were definatley worth it, the sound it now makes is awesome but subtle. If anyone has any queries about fitting an induction kit or HID's to their car, please don't hesitate to contact me and i will do the best i can to help.
