New style tuning headlights for the Phase 1 available

If you're too strapped on cash to get a proper Audi, you can now turn your Megane 2 Phase 1 into a wanna-be Audi with these new aftermarket headlights that some Chinese sweatshop has turned out:
Eight leds provide lighting for the Audi-style daytime running lights. Nice to see there are no angel eyes as they're totally passé by now... (As will these LED DRLs be in a few months time...)
Besides black the lights are also available in chrome.
As always, only available for the Phase 1 so Phase 2 owners were ignored once again......

I've read on a German forum that these lights DO NOT have DRL's, just position lamps with LED's! It's stated on the box as "Position lamps with DLR-look".

eBay, as usual.
One seller there describes them as "SCHEINWERFER MIT TAGFAHRLICHT LED MEGANE AB 03 SCHWARZ" which translates to "Headlights with LED daytime running lights". Which is false advertising if the lights really have no RL/R87-approval, which is the approval required for DRLs.

A German forummember has contacted this seller. It was confirmed the lamps DON'T have the mentioned approval !

they look totally disgusting
its like the angel eyes, they are from a bmw they should stay on a bmw. put them on another car and they look gash. these are from a audi, they should stay on a audi. put them on another car and they'll look gash

I have had nothing but compliments about my headlights... i guess its each to their own...

Phase 1 = 2002 - 2005
Pahse 2 = 2005 - 2008
