225 40 on 18s..
the ride..?
hmm..
a bit bouncy at the mo, but will test swaping them with my eibachs..
to tell the truth, the car was more comfortable when lowered 35mm with the eibach and on oem shocks but still rolls a bit ..
and eventually just less than 1 year the oems wore off..
so i bought the koni kit, its affordable and no rolls..
the bilstein b12 is better comfort wise than the konis..(but both i rate handles equally..cause i had tried my brothers meg on b12)..
if you can afford the b12, go for it..
:-)

Mine's dropped on adjustable H&Rs, didn't measure the exact amount compared to standard, but currently the distance from wheel hub to wheelarch is approx. 320mm both front and rear:

Tyre size is 225/35R19 which has practically the same outer diameter as 225/40R18, 205/50R17 or 205/55R16. Ground clearance is about 85mm at the lowest point which is not much but still acceptable provided one drives "with eyes open".... :D
