Hi all.
Im new to the Megane scene. Just got a 55 plate 19tdci 130. Love it.
Been reading the posts about you guys getting more poke and better MPG by changing stuff around.
Can you advise me on the best and more reasonably priced options/way of getting more out of her ?
Air filters ?
Chips. ?
Box's. ?
All sounds a bit heavy to me....
Any help and advise would be cool....
Many thanks.
Alex

Not too sure really mate.
Have no idea of the cost of these things ya see.
Found some tuning chips on ebay from a dealer with top feedback for £130.
Guess a K&N ( or similar ) would be £50'ish i guess.
Dont wanna go silly tho...

to be honest, if you can stretch to 300 then you want to go down the custom remap route. its the more expensive option but it is the way forward
have a look at angel tuning or RS tuning

I have a Kingquick module fitted, bought from eBay for £99, yes £99!!!
www.kingquick.co.uk
It's really good and I've just bought one for the Wife's Clio, gone up slightly though, £129 from eBay but they are much more expensive on the website (£199)
Spoke to Jeff from Kingquick when I bought the second one and he said he was having to put prices up because people were thinking they were cheap and not buying them because all other tuning boxes are upwards of £300.
Apparently Kingquick manufacture the units and wiring harnesses in the UK where as most other tuning modules are imported from the continent and re-badged.
As Deano said a custom remap will get the most from your car, but tuning modules come a close second.
BTW I have no connection to Kingquick Technologies other than being a very happy customer!
