Hi all! Haven’t been on here in a while, hope all is well with everyone.

Got the car lowered 45mm on Spax a few weeks back finally. Cleaned it today and took a few pics just to show anybody who's interested.

Used that Turtle Wax Ice stuff to polish the motor today... really good job, does all the trim as well as body work and leaves no hazy polish marks. Leaves a real nice shine, unfortunately them pictures don't do it justice as you can probably see it was a bit of a dull day, but in the sunshine

Looks good with the drop!

Is the Ice wax very sensitive to water? I always hate water seeping out from under the trim ruining the polish job...

I washed the car on saturday mornin' and used Ice Wax on it straight after. It's ended up rainin' all day saturday and this mornin'. When the sun came out this afternoon the finish looked as good as it did when it was put on yesterday. Turtle Wax people claim it will stay good up 20 washes... i wouldn't be so sure about that but I do think it keeps well.

It's handy cause you can apply the Ice Wax straight onto the trim and not worry about it hazing. The polish didn't look as quite good as the Mcguires Gold Class I normally use, but as I said in the post above it was very overcast and so you wouldn't get much of a shine of the paintwork anyway. I like it 'cause it's much less of a hassle to apply and still looks top notch.

Looks real nice mate, looks so much better, Couple of Q's:

-what size wheels you got on there? they look twice the size after its been lowered.

-and where did you get the springs from? I want to get this done in a couple of week, where was the cheapest place to get them from.

Motor is sittin' on 18's mate with a 225/45 tyre. Got the srpings from http://www.spax-suspension.co.uk/p1326756.htm the site was real quick to get them sent out, had them in 3 days.

really does look 100% better, as you can imagine the ride is a bit harsher but in no way uncomfortable.

renault quoted me £160 for a rear spoiler and that was just it bought and primed. series 2 spoiler (one without brake like and on the new R26.R) part no: 77 11 419 518.
