I'm sorry but I don't know the part number...I will however remove the bumper next week or so to change a light bulb and will keep an eye for the number. In the mean time I'll look for the receipt to see if it's noted there.

Your car has actually inspired me to build one of these myself!

I've been planning the parts and how i'm going to put it together, but im unsure on a few things and want to no exactly what i'm going to do before i start.

First, i'm planning on running the main monitor as a touch screen in the place of the stereo as a double DIN Monitor -7inch. As i will be doing this i'd be wondering how you wired your amps up and where you put them? I'd thought to make a mount in the boot for a 6way or 4 way amp to power all the speakers straight from the pc.

Secondly, i was thinking of running a navigation program into the xp installation, as the "stereo hole" is quite low, this wouldn't be ideal for navigation, i'd want to put a second monitor into the place you put yours to show the navigation, or a movie or something. How did you make your monitor support to hold the monitor? i wouldn't be fussed on the folding, that would be a perk though.

Im assuming your running windows xp, how fast is your boot time? Does it have trouble shutting down with the power suddenly going off?

The monitor bezel is based on a BMW Z4/X3 navigation unit, a bit modified to fit the Megane plastic trim. The minotor size was also modified from 6.5" to 7".
The amps are linked to the ignition wire of the car. XP boots in aproximatly 15 seconds, give or take. The power supply is also linked to the ignition and when the engine is stopped, the PSU automaticly starts up the hibernation process. You can choose what you want the computer to do when the engine stops...shutt down, stand-by or hibernate, so you will always have a safe shut down.

It's a 3D sticker that looks like carbonfiber, I think it is made by 3M.
I'm proud to say that I know cris personally. He has an incredible car, but unfortunately it is not proper for our roads in Romania. He has to be very careful in order not to touch the ground.
It is really sad that this car hasn’t a more powerful engine like 1.9 dci, 2.0 16V or 2.0 T.
What I like most is the clean look of this car.
