re-mapping a 1.6

Postby chrislloydie » Wed Jul 02, 2008 6:40 pm

I am considering having my 1.6 re-mapped, possibly by Angel tuning.

Was just wondering whether anyone else has had there 1.6 done and if they consider it worthwhile as compared to diesel engines, the gains in torque and bhp are small.

What sort of gains did you get?

Any comments or advice appreciated.

i would of thort your going to get about 8bhp max, usually when they map cars tho it sorts out flat spots, so the car will pull better, but still its alot of money for a possible 8bhp.

Not much gain to be had from mapping a 1.6, pretty much the same as with all N/A Renault engines
