HI!
Ive just fitted a diesel tuning box i had off ebay to my 54 plate megane 1.9 dci i paid &150 for it from a company called diesel tuning. Alothough im very impresed with the increased performance and approx 10% more mpg(so far anyway) theres a few things on my mind,in which im hoping you guys can fill me in on ie. how do the boxes work,do they damage the engine (i dont thrash the car but do have the odd silly 5 miniutes now and then!)and also on the module theres a 6 different setings no.1 setting being the lowest and no.6 being the highest. The best setting being no.6 giving the best increase in power an the smoothest through the rev range.though im feeling guilty about running it on the highest incase its damaging the engine.
Is there any one of you guys out there using one of these boxes and has any one ever had any problems????
cheers guys iash101
