I have just had my Megane in for service.
When I picked it up I was told that the had also applied a software update to the engine management system at Renault's request.
If you have had your car modified it might cause problems.

Which year and engine spec please Mike?

I am not sure what spec the recall is covering but mine is a 1.9dc1 130 on a 56 plate.
I was thinking about having mine remapped a couple of months ago. glad I didn't now!
I hope no one loses out on this one.

I got my 06 plate in january this year, and within me having it about a month I got a phone call from the dealer I got it from saying there was recall as there was a fault with the onboard computer, I took it back and it was done within 45 mins, i was starting to have problems with the trip computer showing how many miles of petrol i had left, it was in the thousands, once everything was reset it has been fine ever since.
