Reduce Turbo lag

Postby Charlsburg » Mon Mar 10, 2008 9:03 am

Hi, would an ECU remap or a Plug and Go box reduce the turbo lag on a 1.9Dci.

Cheers

Probably yes? Best thing to do is start making a few equiries with different tuning companies.

There's not that much Turbo lag on the 1.9dCi and if yours is suffering excessive amounts I'd get your EGR valve checked ASAP.
Make improvements, not excuses!

Would it be worth cleaning out the EGR valve or totaly replacing it myself then, if so would i need to replace any other bits with taking the valve off.
