Does anyone know how to separate the steering wheel from the dashboard??? because i would like to leather hand-made the steering wheel and i pretty much don't like the airbag to pop-up in the face of the person who is doing me this! :D

disconect the battery for 30 mins to discharge any latent current.
if i remember correctly some torx head screws through back of wheel
air bag lifts off
big nut inside wheel comes off wheel should pull straight off
would not reccomend though electric power steering has sensor on the wheel to detect turn would have to transfer sensor to new wheel

If your so desperate to get it done take it to a pro that knows what there doing or one day you will be doing 100mph down the road with a steering wheel on your hands attached to nothing and saying to yourself "ooops was this attached to the car for a reason  ?
