I got the remap done on my 1.6L.
Have yet to dyno it to get results.
But after driving it for a couple of months now with the remap, it defninitely has more torque, also the power is distributed more evenly across the rev band.
Also remap has increased fuel efficiency.
For me the remap was well worth it. For a turbo car you would see a greater increase, but for a NA i'm more then happy.

Mr Asia: give us all possible data (type of, power, torque and of course the graph) - I'm thinking of it but not sure whether itis worth doing.

Where did you get it done for £210? cheapest I have found is over £400 from K-TEC, but they seem expensive for everything!!

tell me this peeps... can you get a 1.4 remapped so that it can actually pull itself up steep hills without havin' to be in 2nd gear and givin' it full on heeps??
i would like to get a wee bit more outta my car but would a remap on a 1.4 (if even its possible, i dont know about this stuff) be a waste of money. or would the mpg go up and make it worthwhile?

most cars after 1999 with OBDII ports can be remapped though. the difference on a 1.4 wont be great but it will be noticeable

hey guys, I saw at K-Tec the "Power Box" they sell for the Megys. Exactly how this box works, you just plug it in and the box do the mod's, or you plug it in but still has to take your car to a dyno to do the mod's (remap)??

its plug and go mate, takes 5 mins to fit and thats it.

and is there a box like that for a 2.0 16v Meg?? I only saw the one for the Turbo, does that one works with the "no turbo" too?
