My experience in this area is limited but I would not install one considering its location in the engine compartment. Well located for noise inside the cabin which is what it's all about though!

did he install the 1.6 BMC then?? Because i cant find one listed for the 2.0l :(

BUT.....

As luck would have it... I actually live 300 yards from ITG's factory and ive approached them about using my car as a donor car for their Maxogen Induction Kit.. as they dont do one yet for the 2.0l. They are getting back to me sometime next week :)

Sad to say M2's Current Space not able to fit the 2l version of BMC-CDA...only used and tested on 1.6l version BMC-CDA on the M2 2.0l engine...

So far I know someone had ITG been tested...no close to BMC-CDA...

Keep us inform if the Maxogen Induction Kit works on the 2.0l engine...

So far I am no fan using Foam Filter....

hi everybody
i've noticed that someone installed the BMC-cda model for 1,6 l on Megane II 2,0 l
I would install it on mine 2,0 l because I do not want to remove the battery.
Could anyone explain the benefit of this filter ?
Do you suggest me to try it ?

At the time being I have K&N in the original air-box but I read worst impression of that !!

I want to fit an induction kit to my Megane but there isn't one for the 1.5dci. I have been told that the BMC CDA for the 1.6 should fit, is this correct? I would like to find out before I go for it.

Sorry for asking this but I was wondering how do I get the original airbox out? I think it is the same as the 1.6. Do I have to take out the battery?
