Greg, if you have the normal megane (Non Renault Sport) you should be looking at wheels with stud pattern (PCD) 4 x 100, and an offset of around ET35-40.

If you do have a Megane 225, then its 5 x 108 (I think), and a very high offset of around 63!

You can use https://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk to get an idea what certain wheels would look like on the car, I wouldnt trust their PCD's and offsets though, nor their prices!

Hope that helps.

P.S. No those wheels would not fit

I've just picked up a set of 17" wheels for my Megane from Rochford, they included a set of chrome bolts and the correct set of centralising rings for my car (these fit into the wheel center to assist with alignment when putting bolts in), they are PCD 4 x 100 with an offset of ET 42. I can't fit them until I change my insurance company in August so I won't be able to post a picture until then.
They were the price listed on the website and only took a few days to arrive.
