As the extended title says...

Obviously it has been removed. ;)

I replaced with the following:

NOT SPECIFICALLY THIS KIT - Found it cheaper elsewhere. This just gives you the idea of what you need.

Dealer wanted £30 for the wire alone and £70 for the funking resistor!



Anyway, the wire came with an extra wire. No idea why. I've simply taped it off and connected the others. It was easy to do, just fiddly to get under there but I've had more difficult tasks in those terms.

The fan works fine now but how Renault thought the design was a good idea is beyond me! The resistor is designed to have two wires connecting. Bloody French idiots.

I couldn't find a proper step by step but if anyone wants one, I could write it up with pictures, etc.

I also replace the fan, unrelated to the issue...I broke the fan mount clip thing (that's a pathetic design too).
