Hi all!
My brother have just bought a Megane CC 2.0T recently, and he already have big plans for the car. The car is from 2004, and he has bought brand new ph.2 headlights and a complete Megane RS225 ph.2 frontbumper.
Last week we where up for the change, but ran into quite a dead end.
The car is fitted with OE xenon headlights, and we therefore bought OE xenon headlights for a ph.2 aswell including new controlunits, and honestly belived it all was plug n' play. We did that conversion on my ph.1 to ph.2 which was all plug n' play. However my car is not fitted with OE xenon but we thought it was quite the same operation. That I can tell is wrong.
The connectors on the 2 headlights are different, sad but true.
Connector on ph.1 is the white one
Connector on ph.2 is the black one
All wiring for the ph.1 headlight goes through this one connector, where the one in the ph.2 is divided in 2 connectors. One for the lights and one for the height adjusment for the low beam.
Is there anyone who have done this conversion or know what to do? Does there exist any kind of adaptors that fits between the headlights and the original wiring harness?
By any means we hope to be able to avoid cutting in the wiring harness.
I could use a little help..

I cant offer any help regarding the wiring as mine were plug and play but you may be able to help me!!
How do you remove the adjuster motor from the lights as they are different from ph1 to ph2 meaning my adjusters arent plugged in!

You will need new adjusters aswell. On the ph.1 they are built in, in the entire headlight. The ph.2 is a part in bulk.
I have highlighted the adjuster on the ph.1 in this picture...
The ph.2 looks like this

Regarding the bumper, I have bought 3 sets in all. One for my own Megane II estate, one for my brothers Megane CC, and then I have one en spare, which has had a minor damage during the transport from France. I have bought them all at my local Renault dealer. Converted to your currency I have given approx £800 for a complete bumper, with all meshes, and trays and so on.

Tks DK-burn, guess the bumper plus shipping would cost as much to buy from agent (Wearnes) in Singappore.
Guess have to keep a lookout for a used complete set.
Not willing to pay so much for the bumper.

Re: OE xenon ph.1 vs. ph.2
Does anyone know where to find a wiring diagram of the wiring harness to the headlights?
I found the missing connectors now, which means I'm able to do the wiring by my self. Just going to need a digram
Anyone?
