Im away then... parts should be at renault for me to collect tomorrow, i bought the control off ebay and hopefully that'll arrive too.

Then a day of tinkering! hopefully with the result of fully functioning cruise control!!

have you got your parts now?

Im using an extra stereo remote..Im thinking of getting rid of all the print that is on the stereo remote and getting some small stickers with the cruise control functions on.... getting a little ahead of myself there tho, best get it working first!lol

Can't wire it up, or can't figure out how to!

Sending it back then buying a radio stalk off ebay, all the cruise control ones look difficult... :/

About remote control.

I probably did some pointless modification (maybe not, because I have also "Cancel" button) of remote control (originally used as car radio control), because someone did it as shown on pictures without any mods of control:
Image
Modry = Blue
Zeleny = Green
Cerveny = Red
Hnedy = Brown
On the bottom of that picture are colors of wires in connector under steer (but they can be swapped):
Ruzovy = Pink
Hnedy = Brown

Next his pictures are:

His work is based on http://meganeboard.de/viewtopic.php?p=167127#p167127

sorry for my poor english

Thank you, so for his, must he use the brake or clutch for cancel as there is no button?

From reading through the german forum it seems a lot of people have just gone for that approach... Like the idea of using the snap-on connectors for the cables, definitely easier than soldering!

All I need now is something with four buttons, thinking I might look for something fairly subtle, maybe a membrane switch, or two rockers.... not sure :/

Was I correct in thinking they must use the brake or clutch for cancel?

Think I might do it like that.. Seems simple... To be honest, how I understand it now seems too simple!

Partially expecting to run into some trouble or other!lol
But if it is as simple as it seems can't be much more than an hours work!!

I can't wait to try it tho!! Fingers crossed my control comes in the post!
