Nothing much has happend on this lately!

Replaced rear axle bushes as it felt loose and was scrubbing the tyres off in a couple of months! So replaced them, new tyres fitted and found out the car has had a knock on the drivers rear and had a replacement axle fitted at some point, but not fitted very well as it was 10mm too far one way so reset that!

Replaced both front window regs, sorted the leak in the boot but still cant find the leak which is filling the passenger door pocket with water!!!

Serviced her and she drives like new!

So, been made redundant so got a bit of time on my hands!

Managed to pick up a tuning box for 40quid, tuv approved and shes working lovely!

The car has always felt very restricted so thought sod it and took the cat or should i say the dpf off! Cut a hole in the side, smashed it out n welded it back up, car feels loads better, you can hear the turbo whistling away now and seems better on fuel, still pulling 63mpg!

successfully removed the egr valve, welded up the steel connecting pipe as couldn't wait for the plug from Poland, plus I wanted rid completely!

welded that pipe up, and then 100mm of 40mm silicone and same alloy joiner, runs perfect. I have just unplugged the egr and so far no lights but will see in a couple of days

So, iv got a 1.9 dci 130 sat in the garage awaiting fitting! Sent the turbo off to tdi turbos for a dose of fettling with 200+ bhp as the aim.

Rather indepth conversion as most of the front end needs swapping, changing to a 6speed box and gear cables!

Its the ND0 box, does anybody know if the trafic 1.9 dci uses the same box and can i run the trafic clutch and flywheel?

Hi Craig , I know this is an old post but are the headlights a straight swap ? Wireing plugs etc ?

More or less yes they are. The plug for the headlight levelling motor are the only difference but you can pull them out and swap them over, old unit in new headlights, and it will all work as it should
