Right guys what heights are you running with lowered suspension on the hatchbacks?
Iam currently sat on coilovers which I can only describe as sitting on there lowest setting so iam going to be raising the height so I can get on and off my drive and up and over speed bumps without grounding out
Any pics welcome
Iam thinking 35-40mm?

Re: Lowered meganes
I have my megane sitting with 55mm springs with 17" alloys tyres 205/50 backand front and its fine (although I wouldn't be near speed bumps often) depending on your wheels I would recommend 40mm as a nice medium between high and low !

I'm running 45mm, and having no problems at all. 18" alloys aswell.

Re: Lowered meganes
Bumping this up to hear a few more opinions.
My 1.5dci is standard at the minute. Want to put either 17 or 18's and drop it a little for a better stance but worried about speed bumps....there's loads where I live.
So would a 30mm drop down the job and still allow me to clear bumps ok?? And 17 or 18's?
Thanks.

Re: Lowered meganes
Maybe it depends on which 1.5 engine you have? Mine is lowered by 45mm all round on 18" alloys, but as its the 106 version (and therefore heavier at the front), my front splitter is worse for wear and the undertray scrapes on those sleeping policeman... I don't think aftermarket springs take into account the different versions of the same engine (i.e. I think my springs are listen for the 1.6 and 1.4 as well) whereas the factory springs are matched to individual spec'd / type'd car

Re: Lowered meganes
I've seen some 60mm springs on ebay that I'm tempted to get, ive got 17s on at the mo,how low will it drop it?I did have coilovers on originally and my wheels were under the arches but one of them leaked so I had to go back to standard which I'm hating, any advice or pics please
