Just got my springs back, as you can see they have compressed the stiffer part of the spring, the smaller diameter 2,1/4" part so it will retain some of the ride comfort!

Clean it, service it n drive it!

Bought this to save a bit of money as iv already got an s1 106 rallye that iv turbo'd and a stripped n caged corsa vxr!!!

But im guna look at almost free/cheap stuff, tintin headlights, machine polish it and a new head unit!

Bit of a collection going on! Put some pics of the others in the gallery. I really think tourer is underated and looks brilliant with some basic mods, the only reason mine is taking so long to sort is that money always gets soaked up somewhere else ,and because its taking so long like many I am loosing a bit of interest. I am a fan of rubstrip coding but yours suits the colur of the car and the wheels as they are. :-)

yeah thats what i thought, i was going to code the rubstrips n 225 front bumper but i dont think it needs it, like you say the colours all suit it, but the headlights stick out like a saw thumb!!!!

il have a look n stick some pics of the others up aswel! ;)

After getting my new wheels on ive realised the front has to go down atleast 2-3 inches.

How much lower did getting them compressed and how much it cost.

£45 to get them compressed, iv got the blokes number so will pm it over when i get home

Called coilspring in sheffield, go to their website and email or phone from there. Mine were done within 24hr but depends how busy they are

Yeah o read your other thread!

If you get the front to sit level with the tyre, the subframe will be very close to the floor!

No none at all touch wood, they ride lovely! I cut around 20mm off the bump stop aswel just to make sure it wouldnt hit them pitch me off the road!
