DIY Carbon Fibre

Postby Eddy90 » Wed Jul 17, 2013 1:59 am

A while back I decided to wrap my grab handles in carbon fibre wrap. They looked great but in time the wrap started to warp. So I have decided to do them in real carbon fibre. I came across this video explaining how it done https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rTWaV1imzs

You shouldn't have had used the polyester resin you pictured, as it will fade and be yellow at the end.
Epoxy resin must be used, and clear coated with UV protect
