Aftermarket Exhaust - Advice!

Postby Leee12 » Sat Jan 05, 2013 5:47 pm

Hi,

I am currently looking into putting a aftermarket exhaust on my Megane II. Does anybody know of any good makes or where I can look for a good one. I have had a look on eBay but not sure on which ones are good and which ones arent. Not to bother on how much it is, any help?

Theres any number of aftermarket exhausts available

scorpion, milltek, piper, remus, you can look on the demon tweeks website, they will probably have the majority of all systems available

from experience though, i would use a powerflow fabricator, they make custom systems so the exhaust will be just how you want it to be (ie sound, size, trim style, position) dealers all over uk so have a search

hope that helps

I would also recommend a custom exhaust, powerflow or exhaust uk if near sheffield. Had exhaust uk for previous cars and cant fault price or quality. Also just cos its custom doesn't mean its got to loud.

thats what i found with powerflow, i got them to make a quiet exhaust once and looked near standard except for the tip size

if volumes not an option, one tip a can give you is to buy a back box separatly, 'savage do cheap boxes' and then get them to fit it for you, because buying off the shelf boxes from the garage can work out expensive, usually rrp prices, so look into doing this, saved me around £50 - £60
