Bbs style alloys on a megane?

Alright guys!
It's been a while since I've posted on here I've been busy trying to start a business in alloy wheel refurbishment! (anyone in Newcastle or the surrounding areas after alloy wheel refurbishment or any body work get intouch I'm working from a decent body shop with low prices)
But ANYWAY, I'm wanting to finally start working on the megane and the first thing I've been looking at Is wheels
I'm contemplating putting something like the bbs rs split rim alloy wheel on the car, I couldn't find 17" wheels which are 4x100 cheaper than £800 until I came across DVD txo9 17" deep dish alloy wheels which you can get in 4x100
My question is, does anyone have any similar style deep dish wheels on a megane?
Are 17" wheels and a 35mm drop going to provide a decent stance?
And am I being stupid? Should I just go with nervasport alloys?
