Midlands Remaps

Postby Wazzy » Wed Jul 18, 2012 8:47 am

Hello,

I'm looking at having my 1.6 Megane remapped for fuel economy and power and have stumbled accross Midlands Remaps.
I know a few people on MeganeSport who have used them recently and said that for £179 (Half the value of most places) that they would highly recommend them through service and performance of the remap.
For the 1.6 They boast 111- 123 BHP and 152 - 169 NM.
Has anyone here had their non sport Megane re mapped and to what specifications? This is without any modifications except for Performance Filter/Induction Kit.

Thanks!

To my mind, a non-blown engine will not gain much in bhp or torque. At least not consistently - I would check the graphs - it might gain +12bhp at 6k RPM and nothing elsewhere. It would appear an expensive tune up.

Best check around for other companies info.
Silver 08 plate 5dr 1.5dci Dynamique 106 Tech Run (re-mapped)

Red 03 plate 5dr 1.9 Dynamique dci120

Best advice for Megane owners: sell it before it bankrupts you!
