Removing spoiler off boot lid

My wife just got her car back from body shop . The guy has sealed her spoiler on the boot and didn't take out the wiring for the hi level brake light. Can anyone advise how to remove so that the wires can be fed through

Remove the bolts / screws, and then you will probably need to cut through the bonding material... try a strong piece of string - that's what I used to take the spoiler off my spare tailgate.

Can you not get the light out at all?

Thank u , will be trying this over weekend . I can get light out but for some reason it's the housing cover I seem to pull off
