What's the engine? 1.8?

Also I'm very very interested on what exhaust you put on? From standard 225 RS meggy?
I also have dci (1.5) which is 225 replica to be; and I don't know what exhaust to put on - most cheap for me would be from standard 225 RS - but I'm not sure if different exhaust (last box) would do any harm to either engine or performance.

Thanks for infos!

Cheers guys

It's a 1.9 dci 130

I brought a 225 back box and then released its easier to cut the tips off and a little off the standard box and weld it straight on with out taken the exhaust off the car.
The mechanic said the only way to take the exhaust off is at the front of the car as its a straight through pipe.
You could cut and fit a new 225 back box but just as easy to do the tips and if the welders good you don't need the brackets to hold the right hand side.

It took a few adjustments as the machanic thought the exhaust should point down :no
Was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for the info :)

I might also do that, but I hope I'll get a bit of sound improvement with the 225 back box. What do you think?

Cheers and thanks!

Well after looking over all the posts on here i dont think changing the back box will make much difference to a diesel sounding car but if you get one specialy made you'll get what you want.
Another reason for not putting my 225 back box on was i had no idea how many miles it had done or condition.

im thinking of having one made just because you can get gains from the engine if done properly but i need to sum it up first.

cheers.

Best off getting a custom back box like I did and keep the tailpipes,

You'll get better sound and response due to the back pressure build up and release.
