NOT JUST ANY 225 SPORT REPLICA.... (Feb 2012)

Hi all!

Very excited to be finally starting my 225 replica!
As others have done I shall keep you posted with everything I do.. (it may interest some of you!)

I'm a vinyl wrapper by trade so will try and offer some tips and tricks along my way.. Fist project will be to wrap my wheels and roof next week!

For this week though meg's in the body shop getting the 225 bumper kit sprayed and fitted.

17 nervasport alloys are on the way, and shall also be lowering hopefully!

I'm currently in progress for saving ~3300€ (~2800£) for 225 parts, new alloys, carbon wrapping, interior/exterior adjustments (audio, lighting,...) and big service ahead of me

Once I start I'll post thread as well.

Maybe this is also an option.
It will depend once I'll have the money and see how much I'll be able to sell my car for.
Also: 3000€ savings + 3000€ for my car = 6000€
Renault Megane 225 costs approximate 7000-10000€. If I can get a good one for 7000€ (I'd be lucky) than I'll go for it
But than again, my car is in family for quite some time now and I know it is well preserved

This one looks beautiful (friend of mine has one with same colour), but I need one with steering wheel on left side + maybe a bit closer to my home

What kind of exhaust you fitted on yours? Original exhaust system from 225 RS; full exhaust or back box only?

It's petrol.. and only got the 225 back box on at the moment.. but the sound isn't that great at all so looking at getting something custom made up!

And yeh I was on my phone!! got on the PC and all was well!

Not sure about the black badge on the front.. did have one on the back but It looked odd.. and I'm debating that the front is starting to look the same!!
