Gibzy's Dynamique picture build thread
After many scattered threads of things i have bought and done to the car over the past 18 months, i thought it would be a better idea to keep it all upto date in this one thread.
To start.
Its a 2004 1.6 16v Dynamique 3 door, i wont bore you with the ins and out of this model as most of you own one. Here are some pics of it the day i bought it.
Not long after this i picked up a new Sebring twin 3" roll in rear exhaust section.
then went on the rear GT diffuser
A custom made Induction cone filter and pipe work were fabricated (pipework taken from an impeza)
Back onto the outside and a away with the 1.6 16v badges.... Hello Reno sport's
A set of -45mm H&R springs were picked up from ebay as a bargain. Alot of cussing and a days work and these bad boys went on
Giving a stance on standard set of alloys
Back indoors some carbon wrapped pieces were made up and an F1 gear knob added
A set of Aero bars were added to carry the cycles
The biggest upgrade so far was to a set of 19" koing alloys (215/35/19)
So.... from this
To this
Time to clear up the rear, megane badge remove, black matt the badge and remove the inner ELF sticker
As my driver side door cover was damaged (peeling chrome) i covered it in black matt vinal for the interim
And while i was at it i thought sod it i'll do the fuel cap aswell in prep for the sticker bomb
so, as it stands as of now
thanks for reading... keep an eye out for further updates

All critisicm welcome mate, i can see you point though, Im torn between painting the moulds the colour of the car or matt black. plus im hoping that the wheels will go black, undecided gloss or matt as im not a massive fan of the two tone colour scheme on them.

I think it looks great, love the alloys as they are. Personally tho I'd have the inserts coded to the cars colour.. U could take them off and paint them yourself, the finish doesn't have to be good because of the texture.
other than that like I said great!

I still have a concern regarding the lower
The car needs to be more lower .... I think you have to get shorter shocks.

Re: Gibzy's Dynamique picture build thread
After selling my first set of GT side skirts when i had a bright idea to sell the car, i have just been to collect another new set for the pricely sum of £16... and here they are
Should look like this after fitting
I have a couple of things that have to be done before returnong to work next wednesday
1. Appointment with the bodyshop 9am on tuesday to get a quote on painting all bumper and side bump strip trim, also to paint and fit the skirts.
2. get my sorry behind to Renault and pick up parts to retro fit CC to the car before a biking trip to North wales
3. pick up my new Leon Cupra fron splitter

What route are you going down with the cruise control? What car you using for a control? Reason I'm asking is that after making my own control I found the parts weren't expensive so I change for the full set up the airbag was the most expensive bit at £72
Good luck with it either way!

Im going to try and retro fit it as you originally done with yours. As i am nolonger using the stereo stalk i will utilize that to control the CC. What do you mean what car am i using as a control, i dont understand ?
I have printed off your thread and am picking up parts and resistors on Tuesday. Did you run into any problems when fitting yours ??
