i thought mercs had 2 horns.. one high, one low tone?
and i have to ask... how hard is it to change the horn? is it as complex as trying to replace the headlight bulb?

Le Grand Crapaud, I can testify that the horn on a 225 is also pathetic.

where is the horn anyway? Its at the front in front of the radiator right? If so, is it hard to access and change?

Andy go to the PIAA UK website:

https://www.piaa.co.uk

and check out the new horns. A doddle to fit too. You can get it in where the existing mini-tooter is! Only £27.20 inc. VAT!

BTW it would be good if someone could come up with the fog dimensions, as they are a waste of space
and the mini PIAA HID units would give a massive improvement to main beam. It would require a bit of rewiring though. No doubt WebCode could advise.

I am having a word with the head honcho (Chris) next week about lights and will mention the horn poll on here.

Can't we get a better response? After all we've all got Mégane lls! Who is the deaf old git, I wonder, who thinks the horn is OK   ?

I cant understand why the Dynamique Clio that my partner used to have came with twin horns (low and high) and were fantastic, yet the Megane even the Privilege only comes with one

I also saw the PIAA advertised in this weeks AutoExpress and did think about buying one, but I know where the horn is located, but I just cannot work out how to gain access :?

Front off! Our car - a 1.9dCi Dynamique has just a wee tooter!
