car stereo fascia

hi guys
iv recently bought a new head unit for my renault megane 1.9dci 130, i hav purchased a double din fascia with the pocket which iut has, but it does not fit? which is strange as it said when i bought it from 2007 onwards? it seems to b square and where the stereo slots in its curved?
anybody else had this problem? or know which fascia to buy?
