So, I want to make one thread with pictures of lowered megane II. I think it's a good idea for newbies, and members who want to lower their cars.

The thread should look something like this:

Lowered: -30/-40/-50mm etc.

With: springs/spring+shocks/coilovers/airride

Make: H&R/Spax/KW etc.

Wheel size: 15"/16"/17"/18" etc.

ET: ET38 etc.

Spacers: 20mm/no spacers etc.

Tyre size: 205/55-16/ 205/45-17/ 225/40-18 etc.

Experience: I'm pleased with (or not) ..... make, the coils are great, the ride is (or not) like..., i (don't) recommend them because .... etc.

Photo(s) of lowered car (you could put pictures of summer/winter setup if you get them or car before lowering/after lowering):

I think this will be a good thread for some newbies and others who want to lower their cars but don't know how will the car is gonna look after lowering :) So if you like this thread, you can start post with your car ;)

does that tyre size make the speedo wrong, I thought to keep it accurate on 18's you'd need 225/40...?

Thanks, n nice mods! How much did the stuff cost, n fitting?

Nice ! That's the way I wanted you to show lowered car !

The wheels are so big with those 225/45 tyres..why did you put them and not 225/40?

Yea speed will be well out...

As much as reading 80 when doing 70.

Not to mention engine stress. (RPM will be higher for a lower MPH)

After reading this i just popped out and had a look. My bad they are 225/40/18. The speedo is about 2-3mph out against GPS, so not too bad. I remember using one of them tyre calculator things before i bought them.

Cheers.

mines dropped 35mm on standard 16s as you can see above.

40 or 45mm maybe, that is if you dont live in london, otherwise 30mm is enough
