Front mods????

Apologies for the lateness of my posts, between girlfriend and work, i cant seem to get on beofre 12...

Right... since getting my 06 megane ive had great fun modding the it but i have done absolutely nothing to the front apart from replacing the bulbs. Aside from a new front bumper (a future mod) does anyone have any suggestions as to a few cheap and cheerful mods i could do that would help the front look a little different?

What about sanding down the bonnet, letting it rust and going for the RAT look?

You could then get a plastic rat and glue it where a merc badge would be.

I would love to see a RAT look megane.

Not a huge of running lights simply because I'm not an Audi and I'm not trying to be one either but cheers for the idea...

Anybody fitted a set a headlamp brows? I know this probably toes the line of donning a burberry cap and stamping Chav on my bonnet but has anybody fitted angel eye headlamps and do they look any good?

I had looked into these mate but had struggled finding any grilles... can you maybe get the 225 front grille to replace the standard grille?

Lol... true true... but according to top gear, audi drivers are the new cocks and bmw drivers are grand hence halo lights not led strips. And the angel eyes i think entirely replace the front headlamps as opposed to the running leds that are added??

Yeah that's true, although it's not just audis with running lights standard, yeah the halos are a full replacement unit, although I guess you could open up tge original lights and add some led running lights in there, would be alot cheaper, also on fairly sure the grills are different sizes, I wil check tho if you want and get back to you, I'm currently changing my original for a r26 one I changed the fog lights to running lights as my car only has rear fogs as it's just the extreme version..

Ai those were the lights i had looked at. I like them, though as you said the price is nice and steep. But if im not going to do much else with the front i may consider it. If possible mate could you either post up or pm me a pic of your running lights...

I'd looked into conversions, but at the price i was looking at im happy to stick with what i have lol. What kind of hole is the bumper conversion burning into your pocket?

Bumper was £200 complete with fogs and grills, very good price! And it's currently being painted, the bloke quoted me £50 but I recon it's going to be a little more than that as he cut off a bottom part for me also, I will let you know on Saturday as that's when I'm picking it up, i'll send you some pics and the final prices at the same time.
I've got the 230 f1 stickers to put on it too, there £45 a set off eBay, that's an easy mod!lol
