Coil Springs...need some help....

hi,

i have a 2007 meg 1.5dci at the moment and i have jsut bought some suspension coils from a megane gt model which drop the car by 10mm and are also 24% stiffer. now my problem is that i have rang the dealers and the part numbers for the shocker in my car and a gt are different.

does anyone know or can advise me on wether my current shocks would bottom out if i just replace the coil overs as they will also have to be dropped 10mm due to the springs.....

or does anyone know who i could ask or how i could find out the infomation that i need.

....i asked at the parts people at the dealers but they seem to have no idea, neither do there mechanics, which i find is quite silly....
