No none one has done it, as you may get about 4 BHP for the cost of the map.
On a NA engine a remap has little gain.

Hi mate, on your 1.6 you would gain 8nhp/17nm torque, we have remapped a few of these and it does make a difference. more responsive and pulls a lot harder through the gears...

Thats what i drive and if i thought it was worth it i would have had it done a long time ago.
I would say in the region of 8 - 10 bhp and a few extra pounds of torque.
Ask the guy above he remaps.

Theres nothing worth the money on a renault 2.0 or any other of their N/A engine.
I just accept its 136BHP and thats where it will stay.
If i want quicker, it will have to be a different car.

To be honest I'm not 100% sure of why we have threads like this. The 1.6VVT and 2.0VVT, are some of the best engines in their class. The 2.0 can even move your car 0-60 in 8.9 seconds. Thats not slow and you'll beat most things from the lights. The 1.6 VVT whilst over a second slower has good economy and is quick enough for most tasks with no issues and is the engine I would select most of the time.
As ulrich has pointed out, its not worth doing alot with these, only the turbo models are worth 'playing' with although its debatable how much the new 1.4 tce engine has in it. Now days the Megane 225 can be had for very little money and when you look at the costs of modifying, a 225 is the way to go.
