iv got a silver 3 dr '06 and the cars great but iv got some ugly grey, off colour bumpers and bumpers strips down the side of the car,
iv read in the forums of people trying to respray them but is it possible to buy replacements that match the colour of the paint work?
I dont have much patience to try and spray them so itd be great just to unclip the old grey ones and clip on the matching ones,
if anyone knows where to get them or the quickest/easiest way to change them, please post

take your car to a body shop and ask for a price to have them removed the spaces filled and full bumper resprayed, it will look mint, proper euro'd smooth and sexy, either that or look for a crashed meg that you can pinch the already painted bump strips from so you wont have to sand them flat. either way i dont think a paint shop would charge you to much to paint them all anyway.

On a side note, the 225 doesn't have smooth door protectors, they are textured.

could you not unclip them and respray them yourself? Would prob be cheaper than a bodyshop.

£200!!!! Woooah!!

I had a quote to respray bonnet, 2 doors & the boot on my sisters old 206 and that came to £260, and the finish was unbelievable.
Think you need to get some more quotes because that sounds extortionate to me!

£450 + VAT!!! My god what are they using liquid platinum?

Well i'd say the £160 is getting nearer to the mark, are you having them smoothed off aswell? That price seems the most reasonable to me, What colour is your meg?

Nice one! Should be coming on alright after all that. Thats a better price for the paintwork!!
You going to get her lowered when you get the alloys on?
Makes the car 100x better when its done.

Thats also a decent price for a remap! They taking it up to about 100bhp?

Also, get used to paying money out, you'll need it with a megane!! haha.

They do come off but require some effort.

I used a block of wood covered with a towel and knocked it with a hammer.

Trying not to hit the body work!
