Hi,

I am looking to buy a 2008 plate renault megane hatchback.

Does anyone know (or had any experience with) if it is possible for Renault to do an aftermarket upgrade to the comfort pack? Specifically I am after the keyless entry/start and folding mirror and not to concerned about the alloys.

Thanks for your help :-)

I've never seen it done. In theory you could order your parts and retro fit and have it enabled. But this would cost towards a grand in parts and labour. Its a nice feature to have and it annoys me moving between my Megane and Grand Scenic (the Scenic doesn't have it) but its not worth paying amazing sums of money for and often it fails anyway.

thanks for the advice!

I imagined it would be quite expensive, what with all the antennas it uses but thought I would ask anyways :)

I think it would be only worth doing if you could lift the parts from a scrapper.

Even so the amount of work would drive you up the wall.

Im just gald i have. My key stays in my wallet and never moves. Could be well over a year since i actualy touched it.

jealous i am!

the missus' parents have it in their scenic (had it from new) and would have loved to have it too! But as I am after a tech run model, they are seemingly hard to come by with the comfort pack fitted
