Yes he doesn't need one, but it looks pretty silly in that picture. Only my opinion of course.

yeah I kept the engine undertray on so shouldnt be a problem. It looks silly in the picture because it was a sunny day and the shadow casted under, however in our typical dull english weather its not obvious at all.

R55VYS have you got a splitter under your bumper? Is is a Leon Cupra R one?

I did have a Leon Cupra R splitter on, but it doesnt give you much clearance once its lowered.

I started finding more and more places i couldnt go, like multistorey car parks, reversing off my drive, some nasty speed bumps in Darlo.

They look well though, and they only cost £20ish quid from the Seat dealers.

looks very nice I've been thinking of getting one. How easy is it to fit? could I do it at home or a proffessional needs to do it?

Its a pretty easy job like, just get yourself some decent screws or nuts and bolts, your probably best off using screws as i found out, as if id have used nuts and bolts, when it got pulled off coming down a multistorey car park it would have fooked the lower part of my bumper.

Anyway,

you want to jack the front of your car up, tape the splitter in place, so you can mark it etc, you will need to trim 2-4inches off each end, and some bits from the middle, it will be obvious once you get it, once you have it trimmed to the right size, just screw it on, mine took me about 15mins to do.

or if you want to risk it, fit it using nuts and bolts, just means if you catch it on anything it will pull the bottom part of your bumper off, but it will be fixed on well, lol.

lol I'll just screw it, want to keep the bumper in one piece.

When you say trim, exactly what bit is it you trim? and there's two bits in the middle that stick up, do I keep or cut them?

you cut the two middle bits down so it sits flush with the rest of the splitter, then at each end you need to take a few inches off, as the leon bumper is bigger than the meg bumper.

I paid about £24 for mine from seat so i would go check with them before you buy that, as there stinging you with delivery

I've given up trying to get the arch fillets for my front bumper, the guys at Renault Enfield are useless! I've showed the part on a car in the showroom, looked on screen, cant even find it.

However on the upside, I've just brought myself a sport rear bumper and a sport full exhaust system all for £180!

I'll post up pictures when finished, if anyone knows of any problems I may experience when putting on the new bumper please do let me know.

Many thanks

I've got the back bumper on today, along with the exhaust fitted too.

Bit gutted of the fact that the center pipe from the sport's exhaust didn't fit mine but still looks the part.

Next on the list: colour coding door mouldings and spraying alloys

Looks well sir..

but now you have to lose the 16's and drop her.

They look lost in the arches now. Not to mention a give away.

oh definitely ulrich. The rear ones look riddiculous, gonna put on some spacers for the time being to be flushed, not sure whether to put 25mm or 35mm?

45mm :-)

and i wouldnt bother with spacers, total waste of money, the standard 16"s will still look small and kack. take the bumpers off and store them till you get the wheels and lowering springs. honestly best way to do it, then put it all on one day and it will look like you have a new car.
