225 SPORT REPLICA DCI ** (JULY 2012 UPDATE) **

Finally managed to get my bumper out of the bodyshop onto the car. Has been an expensive process by eh, welllllllll worth it :)))

Cost me £110 inc delivery for the bumper
£150 for bottom grill from the stealers
£150 for spraying
£30 for fitting.

Bare in mind anyone who decides to do this as well, just buy from Renault for £315 u get all the necessary parts inc the grills and under tray extension which is SUPERRRR rare to find on its own.

Problems I ran into when fitting, the bottom of the bumper don't meet the arch lining, so you can either do what I did temporarily and cable tie it or buy a new lining for a sport from Renault.
Also the fogs wires is about 5-10cm too short to fit into both slots so you could just extend the wires by cutting a bit of wiring and twisting it on to the existing wire.

A big, big, big, big thank you to users R55VSY, Nige and Stevie

£150... for the bottom grill....

Was that a typo.

Looks well.. Nice set of illigal HIDs in there i see!

List price in Dialogys is £38.96

The reason there bumper didnt line up is because there is a plastic insert to fill the space available from renault for about £12

Yeah no typing error £146.70 inc vat for the bottom grill, I'm still shocked over it.
As for the fillers the guy at my local renualt is useless so im trying to find the item number for it.

you don't buy different wheel arch liners, what you need are the small fillet pieces.

Are you getting the undertray aswell? You can see right through the grill to the floor on one pic.

have you got another renault dealers close by, as the one you've been to obviously has found new heights of renault slackness.

and in all honesty you dont really need an undertray. the engine still has a seperate undertray, i wouldnt be bothered if i was you, only problem would be if something bounced up under your car and hit your intercooler, which is highly unlikely and it hasnt caused me a problem.
