Newish member, finally doing some mods.

Hi I'm Steve, i joined in November and havent posted since but been browsing regularly.

I've got a 2007 1.9DCI 130. Had a few problems since having it but hey ho. I've got 1 pic atm......



Anyway, i've owned it now for about 6 months so it's about time i had a play with it.

Repaired a few scuffs and dents...




Then i've bought some 18" lenso RS5 which look like this....



Their currently at a bodyshop i work at awaiting a full repaint, which should be next week sometime. Gonna get rid of the mirrored lip and paint the whole rim gunmetal/anthracite.

They came with 3 illegal and 1 good 215/35/18 and after some thinking and researching i've bought some 225/40/18's to go on instead.

Obviously then it's getting lowered 45mm before the wheels get fitted for a better stance and the better handling people talk about.

Done a quick photoshop to try and put my ideas into an image i can share and get comments on. It's a bit rough but it was a 1am quicky.....

Nah mate, it was just a quick go to get some sort of idea.

As soon as the wheels are on i'll get the real deal posted up.

Think it's the reflection of the white carrier bag, there was nothing on the door when i just had a look.
