Re: Carbon fiber parts...
I got it from ebay.
But it was the proper '3M' backed. Ie itis porus to let wrinkles and bubbles out.
I also 'streched and moulded' it with a hair dryer. It has much more play when heated and also sticks much better.

Funny you should post this as I have just wrapped my pillars with the 3M 'carbon' sheet. It's fantastic stuff!
Ulrich I see you have Team HEKO delfectors, did you notice an increase in road noise being let through the seals like I have? I do quite abit of motorway driving and I feel road noise has been increased . They do look the dogs though!

No not at all. But i didnt use the encluded metal clips and i put a layer of silicon on them before insertion.
I held them in place with duct tape over hight until it dried.

Yeah that is all I could think of doing, sealing the deflectors to the window frame. I might try some stick on foam.

That is one ingenious way to tidy up some tired trim. Now I challenge you to do the bits holding on the door mirrors .

i think foam would creat more of a gap, due to the thickness.
I would pull them out and smooth silcone sealent over the insertion area.
