1,4 16v Rev Keeper

Postby Radiv » Thu Mar 11, 2010 10:31 pm

On my 1,4 16v there is some sort of rev keeper programmed in. This one keep the revs at the same level as they were for a few seconds when changing gear.

This irritates me, and I would like to get rid of it !
Is this possible to remove, so the revs drops as they normally do on an engine ?

You sure its not a sticky throttle body? Never heard any Megane's coming with such a device especially on the bottom line 1.4.
