17" Pro Race 2 in silver
What you all rekon to silver Pro Race 2's 17" on an ottoman sporthatch? The offset is 38 and the tryes would more than likely be 205/50/17.
My meg has been lowered 30mm and the bumper trims have been colour keyed.
Let me know what you think! I quite like the understated design of this wheel, plus they are lightweight!
Ant.

Ahh a reply! In the end I found a deal I could not let go on a set of 18" pro race 1.2's with tyres. They are being delivered tomorrow and I cannot wait to fit them!
They will finish it off nicely.

Yeah it's not actually those I went for in the end. If you search Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 on google images you shall see.
And thankfully I did it the right way round. I have already lowered it 30mm so it won't look like a monster truck with just big alloys on.

They sell them in Halfords and all over the internet. The 18" wheel and tyre package goes for about £850-£900 but I got my set for alot less off eGay (pm sent). They were 2nd hand but had never been used. Came with a nice set of Falken tyres already fitted.
They are fantastic wheels. 18" up from the standard 16" and they are noticeably lighter.
I will stick some pics up when I have cleaned it.

I like. Doesn't look like they have the silver rim like the pic above? Which is good.

My cousin works in body repair and he does little jobs on the side. He only wanted £60 for it but that is family rate! I could of done it myself but for the sake of £60 and the possibility of messing it up, I let him do it.
You have to take the bumpers off to pop the inserts out from behind. Then they want sanding down because they have a texured finish. A high build plastic primer wants putting on, then multiple layers of top coat and lots of lacquer. Then they need polishing and fitting.
The end result is fantastic but I have picked up quite a few stone chips on the front trims because I do alot of motorway miles

Still looks better than standard though.
