Installing Front Fog Kit.....

Postby Nige » Mon Jan 18, 2010 7:59 pm

Hi Guy's my Megane 225 Replica is an extreme model without the front fogs. Now can i buy the front fog light kit and fit it myself without any problem? I have been told that these Meganes needed the ECU programmed in order to recognise the fog light system after installing the stalk ect....

I wanted to do this but ended up changing the bulbs for LEDs and using them as running lights, they just take power from a switched 12v under the bonet, that way no need for programing or changing the stalk etc.... Didn't really ansawer your question there tho did I, guess that's more of a way how to get round it!lol

Yes Renault does a kit for most non Fog lighted models. Have a word with Renault Parts Direct.
