How hard have you been looking? lol theres loads of topics opened on this forum about remapping diesels, the only thing is i don't think i've seen someone with a GT get it mapped, i don't know if it because they would fall apart afterwards or if its just because they don't want to, i don't know.

But remapping your car will increase BHP, Torque and MPG, the downside to this is the life of the engine is shortened, though if you maintain your meggy properly this shouldn't be much of a problem.

Theres 3 ways that i know of remapping a car.

1. Tuning box - what it does is give the ECU False readings such as temp/fuel pressure etc (In my opinion not the way to go)
2. Generic/Off the shelf Map - this is a preprogrammed remap that gets uploaded onto your cars ECU and alters settings such as Boost pressure, fuel timing, air intake etc, (I'ts cheaper than a Live/Custom Map, better than a tuning box but not my personal preference)
3. Custom/Live Map - This is when you take your car to a tuning company (such as OBD Autotune for myself) and they make a copy of the map that is already on your ECU, they then adjust the settings on the map already to the way you want the car to perform, things like, when the boost kicks in, throttle response, and other settings such as boost pressure, furl pressure/timeing, number of fuel squirts per cycle etc (Personaly i'd go for the Live/Custom map, you'd be paying like an extra £20 compared to either a Generic map or Tuning box but you get exactly what you want)

Hope this helps,
