Dashboard Lighting, need help!

I've got a 04 Megane, as you know the 02-05 models have that orange backlight on the dials and center console, where as the 55- onwards have the nice suttle ice white colour.

Does anyone have any idea how I could get it to be the same colour if not similar?

Thank you.

Sam

yes i have tried, was a straigh swap, the clocks i had before just had the red car symbol to let you know that a door was open but new closkc had the wee screen and i could then see which door it was.

works just fine, only thing is the mileage will probably be different

why would you need to update the tax book?

If you go to reno they can set the clocks to the actual milage, meaning there would be no difference, all you'd be getting is a higher trim set of clocks

it doesn't change the perfomance of the car and would change anything on the tax book either would it not?

you have to ask them, they might say no but then you also tell them its a custumisation and if i was to buy a brand new clock from yourself how do yous propose yous set the new clocks to the current mileage on the car?

then they go ugh, umm, ah?

all there doing is taking a reading from the ECU seeing what mileage it says then updating the clocks.
